I've had a Cricut for 2 years and I'm still on the learning curve about how to use it. I recently discovered the pen tool and have been exploring the different ways that the pen tool works.
I made these business cards in a matter of minutes one night when I got distracted cleaning my room (happens way more often than it should haha). I'm still learning how the Cricut interfaces between cutting and drawing as well as how the pen tool outlines text and vectors. It's a pretty complex machine with a simle interface.
The circular design is drawn on green cardstock paper and cut out.
The circular design with contact information is drawn on sticky cardstock and cut out.
The two halves are stuck together.
A second set is made with yellow paper. The yellow logo cut outs are swapped with the green and placed in the negative space on the front.
This project was a quick exploration of how pen tools work with the Cricut machine.
However, a round business card of this size would never work and should never be produced. This design is bulky, it wouldn't fit in a wallet, it's time consuming to produce, yadda yadda yadda (the list goes on). I will not be continuing to produce this design.
